Kelly Rushford, EdD
Owner/School Psychologist
Kelly's love for children and education began in high school when she volunteered as a student teacher assistant for a kindergarten student diagnosed with autism. Ever since then, Kelly has devoted her career to fostering student growth. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at SUNY Cortland, followed by her Master of Science and certificate of advanced studies degree in school psychology at Niagara University. Her final stop was at Loyola University Chicago, where she earned her doctorate of education degree in school psychology.
Kelly brings over 17 years of experience as a school psychologist to the Krush Evaluations team. Her specific interests include autism spectrum disorder, psycho-educational assessment, and learning disabilities. For the past 6 years, Kelly's primary role has been in the area of assessment. She is currently certified as a school psychologist in South Carolina, Maryland, New York, California, and North Carolina.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, their 4 teenage children, and 2 dogs. She is a longtime Buffalo Bills fan and enjoys spending time at local craft fairs.
Colleen Pirrone, M.S./C.A.S.
School Psychologist
Colleen was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She attended Canisius University for her undergrad where she majored in Psychology with a minor in School Psychology. Colleen received her Masters of Science and certificate of advanced studies degree in School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University and graduated in 2009. She also holds her national certification (NCSP) as recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
With 15 years of experience, Colleen strives to help students and their families reach their educational goals by understanding the whole child. This includes using a highly experienced skill set well-versed in psycho-educational, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessment tools. Colleen is also highly trained in cultural and linguistic responsive initiatives. She is excited to be part of the Krush Evaluations family and is proud to apply her skills in assisting schools and other educational entities with helping children put their best step forward.
Currently, Colleen resides in Buffalo, NY with her husband, three boys, and dog. She enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and attending the many sporting events her boys are involved in. Colleen embraces the journey as a life-long learner and currently is certified in the states of New York, Louisiana, Arizona, and North Carolina.
